Located east of Dongara in Western Australia, the Waitsia Gas Field is ranked one of Australia’s largest gas fields ever discovered onshore. The Waitsia Stage 2 project involves further gas field development, with more wells and a new production facility capable of producing 250 TJ/day. Stage 2 Development will contribute to the stable supply of LNG to meet increasing global demand and continue supplying domestic gas for use by Western Australian manufacturers and consumers.

Melchor Contracting were engaged to complete detailed earthworks, formwork, reinforcement, and placement of concrete foundations to the power generation area (including a diesel generator, three power generation foundations, and the battery storage facility).
