What will the Concreting Apprenticeship cover?
Melchor Contracting is committed to fostering the next generation of civil construction professionals with our in-house apprenticeship and traineeships program. We directly employ and support apprentices through the entire journey to qualification completion. When asked ‘why choose Melchor Contracting?’, Andy Hardeman (Senior Superintendent) answered, “I think the difference in working with Melchor would out and out be the quality of people you work with, their experience and their willingness to teach”.
We actively support and mentor all Melchor Contracting apprentices and trainees to help them adapt to the challenges of working within the Construction industry. Each year, Melchor Contracting hosts an Apprentice Training and Golf Day. Although considered a social event on the company calendar, the day promotes a holistically healthy workplace. Usually spread across sites, the event provides an opportunity to enhance the connection and communication between apprentices, management, and the wider team.
