Apprenticeships
At Melchor, we don’t just create jobs, we build careers. Our apprenticeship program is designed to develop the next generation of civil construction professionals through a combination of hands-on experience and structured training.
We directly employ our apprentices and support them throughout their 2-4 year journey to qualification, providing exposure to real projects, guidance from experienced mentors and access to a stable pipeline of work. This approach gives our apprentices the confidence, continuity, and practical skills needed to succeed in the construction industry.
Apprenticeships on offer include:
Certificate III in Carpentry (4 years)
Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations (3 years)
Certificate III in Concrete Finishing (2 years)
Certificate III in Steel Fixing (2 years)
We place a strong emphasis on wellbeing from day one. Apprentices are supported through mentoring and have access to programs that promote both physical and mental health, including our annual Rising Talent Day, which reinforces the importance of a healthy, balanced working life.
By investing in our apprentices, we are helping to build a capable, resilient workforce and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the industry.
Traineeships
Melchor’s traineeship pathways are designed to support learning, growth and career development. We foster a strong learning culture where trainees are encouraged to build capability, gain confidence, and develop practical skills aligned with their chosen career paths.
Our trainees benefit from exposure to a diverse range of roles across both site-based and office environments, guided by experienced leaders who are committed to mentoring and knowledge sharing. Training is tailored to suit individuals at different stages of their careers, from entry-level to early professional roles.

Graduate and vacation student programs
