Located in the Musgrave Province of Western Australia, the West Musgrave Project involved the construction of a major copper and nickel mining operation.

Melchor was engaged to deliver all in-situ concrete works associated with the project, including excavation, backfilling, buried services, formwork, reinforcement and concrete placement.

The scope included the construction of a 28-metre-high primary crusher, two 50-metre-long reclaim tunnels, and two vertical roller mills, each requiring approximately 1,600 cubic metres of concrete. Melchor also completed the on-site precasting of tee-roff beams to support the project’s structural requirements.
