The plant is located within the Burrup Strategic Industrial Area, Burrup Peninsula, approximately 10km from Dampier and 20km north-west of Karratha on the Northwest coastline of Western Australia.

Melchor is responsible for provision of all labour, supervision, plant & equipment, materials and permits as necessary for the completion to Form, Reinforce and Pour structural concrete to various structures.

Melchor’s successful commencement of the structural concrete package has made way for the award of the complimentary detailed earthworks package.  The package includes all aspects of detailed excavation and backfill required for structures.

Melchor’s self-perform capability has been particularly successful on this project which has a complex industrial relations profile.  The ability and experience to manage a large direct works force gives Melchor a stability that cannot be achieved when relying upon subcontractors or labour hire resources.
