Melchor is Australia’s newest contractor specialising in multiple disciplines across the construction industry.

Melchor has key strategic and financial input from individuals and organisations recognised as standouts in their field.

This includes financial backing from Hoperidge Capital – the family office of Navitas Founder, Rod Jones. Hoperidge has key investments across energy generation, retail, oil and gas, technology and takes a hands-on approach to ensuring its investments are successful. A number of Hoperidge executives are part of the Melchor Board of Directors.

Melchor is also backed by Craig Burton of The Skye Alba Fund, which has investments in a growing number of public and private Australian companies.

Operationally, Shane Jones leads Melchor as Managing Director.

Shane has extensive experience in managing mission-critical projects with the knowledge to balance the requirements for functionality, quality, economy and timeliness.

His experience includes management and directorship positions across a range of Hoperidge Capital investments including Hoperidge Engineering, Perth Energy, Merredin Energy and Enerdrill.

Jon Biesse

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jon is a Founding Director of Melchor. Jon also holds a number of other Board positions including Chairman of Merredin Energy and Director of WelleCo, Asia Principal Capital, Perth Energy and Enerdrill. Jon is also both a Director and the Chief Investment Officer of Hoperidge Capital, a Perth based Family Office.

Founding Director of Melchor Pty Ltd, Craig is also a Partner of Mitchell River Group, Chief Executive Officer of Verona Capital Pty Ltd and Chairs a number of Boards across many diverse industries.

Scott has 18 years of commercial and strategic experience and is currently Chief Executive Officer for SAE Institute, a subsidiary of global educational services and learing solutions provider Navitas.
